The average net salary in February 2012 was 821 KM which compared to the average in 2011 represents a real reduction of 0.9%. Average monthly gross wage in February 2012 was 1354 KM.

 

The highest average net salary in February 2012 analyzing areas of  activities, was paid out in the financial sector – 1240 KM and the lowest average net salary in February was paid out in catering sector – 559 KM.

Workforce in Prijedor Municipality is specific in qualifications, motivation and competitive costs opposed to other countries in region.

 

Most of the available workforce at the moment is in the sectors of mining, industry and trade which are dominated with professions from metal industry, mechanics and machinists, electricians, electronicsenergy experts, builders, textile and food processors.

 

According to the qualification structure, the labor is dominated by:

 EDUCATION IN PRIJEDOR MUNICIPALITY

 

In Prijedor Municipality, there are 12 elementary schools with over 6000 pupils and 9 high schools: gymnasium, mechanic school, architectural school, agriculture school, technical school, catering and economic school, medical school, musical school  and a special school for children with learning disabilities. Total number of pupils in high schools is around 4000.

 

Furthermore, there established High Educational Institutions such as: High Medical School (http://vmspd.com/), High School of Economics and Informatics (http://koledzprijedor.org/) and Mining department of the Technological Faculty in Banja Luka (http://rf-pd.org/), which attended more than 1800 students.
